MEMORY CARE

When you’re seeking memory care for a loved one living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, you want to know their new home will not only protect but also nurture, engage and sustain them. Designed for individuals living with memory impairments, the memory support neighborhood at The Glen at Aberdeen Heights employs programs that engage the mind, body and spirit to stimulate memories, decrease anxiety and create meaningful connections. Residents are encouraged to use their current skills, and we accommodate each individual’s personal rhythms, helping them maintain their familiar daily routine. Our memory care services in Kirkwood, MO, are available for direct move-in with no required entrance fee.

MUSIC & MEMORY®

Musical memory is linked to emotion. Our brains are wired to connect music with long-term memory, often calming chaotic brain activity and helping the listener reconnect in the present. Our certified Music & Memory® programs tap into this unique human attribute. Personalized playlists, using iPods and other digital audio devices, transform the quality of life for residents struggling with a range of physical and cognitive impairments.
