Our organization’s not-for-profit structure enables us to better serve residents by directing all our resources toward fulfilling our mission rather than serving shareholders. So what does this look like in practice?

As part of our commitment to providing quality senior services, PMMA® (Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America) provides millions of dollars annually in charitable care through our Good Samaritan Program, which enables residents who outlive their financial resources to continue to live in PMMA’s senior living communities.
A volunteer board of trustees governs PMMA and holds the leadership accountable for upholding our mission.
Each campus has a mission comprising leaders from the greater community area who provide insight and guidance for philanthropic efforts.
We invest in communities that invest in us. People come to our campus locations because we engage with the communities where we operate. These communities are our homes, and we are here to serve seniors in these towns and cities.
