At Aberdeen Heights, variety is more than just the spice of life; it’s also an important feature on our chef’s menus. Residents look forward to each meal of the day for the camaraderie, conversation, hospitality — and for the diversity of dishes our executive chef creates just for them.
Each morning, residents wake to the smell of fresh coffee brewing. It’s part of a daily continental breakfast spread of fruits, juices, cereals, fresh pastries and bagels. Every Sunday residents enjoy a leisurely brunch. Daily lunch menus range from soups and salads to hot and cold sandwiches, along with a selection of desserts.
With its three courses and remarkable variety, dinner is the most popular meal of the day. In addition to a soup and salad of the day, diners can choose from a list of ever-changing entrées, side dishes and desserts. Rotating seasonal starters and entrées are also featured each night. Menus always feature healthy dining options.
One thing that’s always on the menu? Quality. Our resident-driven Nutrition & Dietary Subcommittee meets monthly with the executive chef and food & beverage director. Residents are constantly encouraged to offer input, which they provide — along with some of their favorite recipes, which our chef whips up for the community to try each month.
